Hotel was clean and comfortable with lovely leisure facilities. Food and staff were excellent.
The room was let down by a very outdated tv, with only three channels and a broken stand.
Log fires and comfortable lounges. Mostly helpful staff. Bar snacks.
Dated decor and poor in room facilities ( eg only 4 tv channels; lack of Wifi in our room; lack of bathrobes.) The dining room was busy and the food was ok but the menu was very limited and didnt really change .
The grounds are stunning and very well kept.
The rooms are a little dated, but it was comfortable and clean.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our evening meal was great and the older parts of the house were attractive and welcoming. It was good to have the grounds to walk around although February may not be the best month to visit them and they are still being developed.
Our bedroom in the extension wing was very hot, even with the windows open, and we could hear a lot of noise from surrounding rooms.
Lack of basic television channels - freeview for example
Staff were great, food too
Decor is old and tired but for the price paid, it was good value.
Not alot. Very tired and outdated hotel much in need of a facelift and very overpriced for what it is. It is very quiet and the grounds are lovely.
The room, the cleanliness, the staff, the breakfast, the price......shall I go on?
The situation was very peaceful - the gardens looked lovely but unfortunately it was too wet to explore. The dining room was very good with first class service and excellent meals.
Very good hotel, very clean and comfortabel rooms, helpful staff, good menu, food cooked to perfection, very good breakfast, cooked to order
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Passford. On the internet it looked the right hotel for a stay near Lymington and the choice proved correct.
The staff made us very welcome in a relaxed atmosphere, we had a good size comfortable room for the night and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening. We used the indoor pool the following morning which was nice and warm. We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel to our friends.
Bar was busy when we arrived for dinner and we had trouble finding somewhere to sit in the bar but I guess we just arrived at a busy time and the hotel was full.
The relaxed setting, the style of the hotel, the dog friendly approach, the food and the grounds.
there was nothing about the hotel that we didnt like.
I was quite nervous about booking on the web due to previous experiences. But was absolutely thrilled with the place. I do wish that i could have stayed longer, and i will be returning there soon. very best wishes Sir Stephen Bretherton Kingston upon Thames
Very over priced and not good value for money. The room smelt musty and the cushions on the bed were dirty and stained. The room and the hotel needed painting and updating. The carpet in the ensuite around the toilet was very yellow and a bit smelly!!! We asked twice if we would be dining in the hotel the night we stayed. As we did not we felt that this was not really what they wanted from us.
beautiful location with extensive gardens and lovely public rooms. Staff were really helpful. The breakfast is second to none. Well done!
a small detail - bedrooms are in a timewarp and need updating (yellowing hairdryer and stand not seen in 20 years for example). Shower in twin room needed an overhaul to make it work.
